The Forester's House (La Maison Forestière) 

On October 31st 1918, in a Forester's House in Pommereuil, Wilfred Owen wrote his final letter to his mother. Turner Prize nominee Simon Patterson has transformed this house into a white sculptured memorial to Owen and his poetry, which opened to the public on October 1st 2011.

Opening hours: 9h30 to 12h30 and 14h00 to 18h00 except Tuesday and Sunday afternoon. Closed 15 December to 31 January.
