This is one of Scotland's official celebrations of the UN's International Year of Forests, highlighting the exciting and creative work being done to preserve and enhance woods and forests in Scotland and worldwide.
The event will feature a specially composed setting of 'Written in a Wood September 1910' by Wilfred Owen, who spent a period of time in Edinburgh, convalescing. The piece will be performed by soprano Natasha Day.
