The course will build up to the world premieres of 15 songs newly unearthed and edited from the Gurney Archive by Kate Kennedy.
At the Wilfred Owen Story and Gallery the public can view the most complete exhibition of works that depict The Birkenhead Institute, where Owen was a pupil, and other familiar Wirral landmarks.
An open night mic / social for individuals, authors, groups, websites and more to come along and talk about themselves and what/who the represent.
This year's conference theme is 'Friendship'. One of Siegfried Sassoon's greatest friends was the actor and theatrical producer Glen Byam Shaw. Sassoon was a frequent visitor during Shaw's time as Director of the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in the 1950's.

Havering Museum’s new exhibition “Art and War: The Artists Rifles and Romford, 1915 to 1918” explores the history of this unique Corp and will introduce you to some of the artists who trained here, including Wilfred Owen.
Turner Prize nominee Simon Patterson has been commissioned to convert the Forester's House, where Owen wrote his last letter, into a permanent sculptured memorial to Owen.
